NorCal Premier Send Off Procedures

Red Card or Coach Send Off Procedure

Step #1:

Straight Red Card is issued to a player or a coach or team personnel is sent off.

or

A second Yellow Card is issued to a player, and they are shown a Red Card.

I recommend taking a picture of the player/coach pass(es) so you have the necessary information when filling out the game report. **Do not take the player/coach US Club Pass

Step #2:

Within 24 hours:

The Referee submits the game report to Norcal by clicking here.

Step #3:

Suspensions begin immediately in the competition the Red Card is received-and will continue for the next two games unless the PAD committee rules differently. For a second Yellow Card, resulting in a Red Card, the suspension begins immediately and continues for one game unless the PAD committee rules differently.

Step #4:

Verification Procedure: Teams must have form “Verification of Suspension” signed by the Center Referee and coaches of both teams, verifying that the suspended player or coach did not participate in a game. Once the suspension is served, the properly completed “norcal_verification_of_suspension_form (1)” should be emailed to: PAD@norcalpremier.com

Automatic Suspensions

Red Cards: All Straight Red Carded Players are suspended for 2 games with the PAD committee

reviewing and considering the actual length of suspension. The suspension is effective immediately.  Coaches or team personnel sent off are suspended for 2 games with the PAD committee reviewing and considering additional suspensions. The suspension is effective immediately.

Please note: The suspension carries over into other Norcal Premier Age Groups and Games. For example, if Coach A is sent off for his/her U12 Girl’s game and Coach A has a game with his/her U15 Boy’s team – Coach A is unable to coach this match.

Double Yellows: All double yellow carded players are automatically suspended for 1 game. The PAD will review and decide if further suspension is warranted.
